Before you arrive
Once you book, you get a welcome email with a short intake form. Fill it in at least a day ahead so the visit can stay on your story, not on paperwork.
Where we are: 4187 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611. We are on the retail stretch of Piedmont Ave between 41st St and Glen Ave, the same block as Piedmont Grocery and a short walk from the 51st/Piedmont AC Transit line.
Parking: Complimentary parking is in the private lot behind the building. The entrance is from the rear alley. Piedmont Ave and the side streets also have street parking.
The stairs: The clinic is on the second floor. There is no elevator and no wheelchair access. Strollers can come up with you if you can manage the stairs.
When you walk in
The clinic is warm and unhurried. You check in, grab water or tea, and sit down. Your doctor greets you when it is time. Dr. Danika is the founder. Your visit is with your doctor, named when we know who is in the room.
If you are bringing a baby, a toddler, or a partner, they are welcome. Rooms have space for a stroller or a sibling nearby.
The two visits
Visit 1. Discover
We listen to your full story. Then INSiGHT nervous system scans: thermography, surface EMG, and heart rate variability. They are painless. No needles, no radiation. Kids and babies get age-appropriate versions of the same scans. A hands-on look at motion and posture follows. When it is appropriate for this visit, a first gentle adjustment is included, paced to your age, your needs, and what we found.
Visit 2. Understand
We show you what we are seeing. If care is a fit, we name a Program based on what we found and what you want to change. You leave with a named next step, not a guess.
What if it is not a fit?
We would rather tell you that than sell you care. If the scans do not suggest this is the right lever, we say so, and we help you find who should be involved.
