We built this practice on that idea. Slow down. Listen to what the nervous system is really saying. Then move forward with clarity, not confusion.

Dr. Danika Phillips
Fika is a Black woman–owned practice rooted in Oakland. That identity shapes how we show up: centered on families who are often overlooked, honest about what the data says, and committed to care that respects your time and your story.
Dr. Dani didn’t set out to open a chiropractic practice. She set out to solve a problem: why do so many families cycle through specialists, medications, therapies, and still feel stuck?
Her answer was the nervous system. The master control center that nobody was checking. She trained in pediatric and prenatal neurology, earned every certification that mattered, and opened Fika on Piedmont Ave to give Oakland families something different: real data, real answers, and care that actually tracks progress.
That’s why I built this place.
